We love Tracy and her Dogs in Bloom Training. Your dog will "bloom" in to the best dog. We had hired other trainers, purchased courses and books, and did everything we could to eliminate Peanut's fear based aggressive reaction to some people, dogs and loud noises. We had tried everything and realized that we needed an expert who worked with dogs with issues. We are so happy we found Tracy. She is amazing and cares about your dog as much as you do! She helped our dog become calmer, less reactive and responsive to our direction. Tracy gave us the tools to ensure our family succeeds. We are so happy we hired her! After we hired her we found out our vet recommends her services too!!! Tracy Rocks!!!

Tracy is fabulous. My pekinise is a different dog now. She exceeded my expectations of what the end results would be I am now a better master for my dog. I learned I am his Mom but I need to be master first Mom second. No matter what your dog is like he or she and you can all have your thought process changed. Practice practice practice and patients is all you need....and Tracy

Tracy is amazing!! We boarded our misunderstood lab/pit/bassett mix with her upon the recommendation of our dog trainer in Atlanta. I love that Tracy has very clear guidelines for boarding and offers a very structured and loving environment which is just perfect for our Charlie. She sent regular updates and posted videos with our permission which really helped this nervous dog mama! We picked Charlie up and he was sooo happy which tells me he had a great time and felt secure with Tracy. We will definitely be back and highly recommend her!!

We adopted "Trouble" from the shelter in April 2017. Totally loved & spoiled him. Didn't take him long to rule the house. Trouble was totally out of control. Living up to his name very well. We even contemplated bringing him back to the shelter. But I just couldn't do that. Trouble was already with us for 4 months & was part of our family. We all needed help. I reached out to Dogs & Cats Forever (where we got him) & they highly recommended Tracy. Tracy started working with us right before hurricane Irma. I really wasn't sure what could be done with him. We have just completed 6 weeks of training. We still have a long path ahead of us, but at least it's not as bumpy as before. Trouble is doing very well & learning so quickly. I have learned so much also & I am so happy Tracy was referred to us. Give her a call - You will not be disappointed.

Tracy definitely gets a 5 star review from us! She managed to train and control our dog when others have failed. We rescued our two year old dog Lucy about 6 months ago. She came to us from a hoarder situation with lots of issues. She"s a cutie who stole our hearts immediately, but we had a difficult time correcting her bad behavior. We had a professional dog trainer come to our home a couple of times in hopes to help us, but nothing worked until we hired Tracy. She took Lucy with her to Dogs in Bloom for two weeks to help her overcome her fears and anxieties, and teach her some basic training. During that time she sent us videos and kept us updated on her progress. Tracy is now helping us to learn the skills to continue Lucy's progress at home. Our dog is much more manageable now and we can't thank Tracy enough. Not only do we see improvement, but our family and neighbors do as well. Our dog is happier and less stressed, and we are happier and less stressed! We recommend Tracy highly. She's not only passionate about what she does, but she's great at what she does too!!!!

Max received his AKC championship this past weekend. Kay said we did great with our crate training. In particular teaching him to stand!!!! I still have lots of work to do with my handsome devil. When life slows a little i will have to hook back up with you again. Thank you soooo much for all your help. Max and I could never have done it with out you.

Tracy is the best dog trainer that I've had over the years with a half dozen dogs. Coco, a rescue dog, was undisciplined to the point we could not control her. Tracy has been working with Coco to obey commands and not to pull on the leash like she's going after the next meal. Coco is developing into a lovable dog since Tracy has been working with her. Thanks Tracy.

Tracy is an excellent trainer, she is compassionate, dedicated and is very passionate about her work. She worked with us, our new puppy and six year old Collie on a regular weekly basis, for the past 8 weeks and we are delighted with the outcome. Our new puppy understands & obeys his commands. He is truly a happy and confident puppy. Our middle aged dog has learned to be a great example for her little brother, and no longer lunges on her leash when loud trucks pass by and understands the importance of settling into her "place" and staying there until she is released once we provide her with the "ok" command to do so. We are passionate about our pets and grateful for all Tracy has done for us and our fur babies! We are happy to recommend Tracy Hickler, Dogs in Bloom Training and Rehabilitation as a highly skilled and compassionate dog trainer. Thank you Tracy!

Tracy came out to my home to help teach myself and my children how to best handle our family pet. She is very knowledgeable, reliable and friendly. She has a great way with animals. I would highly recommend her for dog training or pet care of any kind. Thanks for everything!

If I could give Tracy more stars I would. No matter what your dog is like she is able to make it the dog you have always wanted. You have to change and learn to be master. My Pekinise was so ill behaved I had to put him in a bedroom when people came over and waking him was impossible. In a few sessions he learned to walk on lead and not go crazy when other people or dogs passed . My new resuce 12 plus year old border collie Aussie mix learned to walk on lead in one session. Dont give your dog up due to behavior . You owe it to your dog and yourself to make them happy . A well trained dog is happy. A happy dog is well trained. You must follow her instructions and work with your dog between sessions. If I ever rescue again, I'm sure I will, my first call will be to Tracy. You won't be sorry if you call her, you will be sorry if you don't make that call to her.

Tracy is more than just a dog trainer. She is family and has a real passion for ALL dogs. I was on the verge of giving my dog away because of aggression. He spent 4 weeks living with her and came home a different dog. He goes to visit every couple of weeks and Tracy checks on him a lot. I highly recommend Dogs in Bloom for any training or behavioral rehab needs you might have for your dog!

I adopted a rescue dog recently. He was 7 years old and had been in the shelter for around 6 months. He had been returned to the shelter twice for aggressive behavior. He bit me twice, but I didn't want to give up on him.I felt that this would be strike 3 for him.I had no way of knowing what he had been through in his life.He seemed like he wanted to bond with me but he was having a hard time trusting me.So,I called Tracy. She came to my house and we talked about Rusty. She recommended a few sessions with her at our house.WOW!! What a difference in just 2 weeks. She knew what Rusty needed and worked with us till we bonded.I would recommend her to anyone who needs or wants training for their dog.

Tracy is an amazing trainer that understands that no dog is the same and works with them according to their needs. She also is great at communicating the progress with the owner. My dog Ben was at Dogs in Bloom for three weeks to help him get over some of his anxiety and fears. When Ben came home after three weeks he is now able to sit on the seat in the car instead of laying on floor boards shaking and is way less stressed. He is definitely more confident and so am I now that I have the tools to work with. His stay at Dogs in Bloom was a positive experience for both Ben and myself.

Tracy started training our standard poodle on November 30,2017.Oh! what dramatic change in Wille's behavior since she came to our home. It was obvious from the beginning that Tracy was both an excellent trainer, and a real dog lover. They always say the trainer is training the owner as much as the dog, if that is true then so be it ,all i know is we are much happier with our dog now.We did ask her if she did in house training but at that time she did not. We now found out she is doing in house training, we probably would have gone that way if it was available. If you are thinking about training your dog forget all the pet stores and get a private trainer like we did. It is a small investment for a lifetime of comfort and joy you will have with your new puppy.

I found Tracy, at Dogs in Bloom, through a friend who works in rescue. Over the past few years, we watched our dog get more anxious and aggressive. He began lunging at people, dogs, bags blowing in the breeze. This very behavior knocked me down one day and dislocated my kneecap. When we brought, Adi to her, he was all bark and nastiness. After spending 3 weeks in board and train, he is a newer version of himself. He can be walked with relative ease and is no longer stressed, anxious or wanting to bite everything in his path. Tracy is filled with heart and love shows in her work. My deepest gratitude to Dogs In Bloom, for saving my Adi!

Tracy is nothing short of amazing! My Grandfather passed July 6th suddenly and before he passed, he adopted Maeve (a Doberman puppy). Unfortunately, Maeve had little training and was a real wild puppy. I agreed to take Maeve as part of my family to take pressure off of my Grandmother. So Maeve toke a trip from Chicago to Palm City. When we got her, she was biting, jumping up on counters, peeing in the house, bolting out the doors, chewing EVERYTHING, and my middle daughter was petrified of her. After two weeks with Tracy, Maeve came back a new puppy. While she still is an active puppy, she listens and she is totally manageable. I can’t thank Tracy enough for taking the last thing my Grandfather loved and making her the family member we can love (and know that my Grandfather is looking down and is happy).

Tracy is great with dogs. She helped us introduce our rescue to the rest of our pack. Stayed in touch with great advise until our girl joined our pack. Need to have her come work with us on our dog walks which I hear is a complaint of many dog owners.

I adopted Roxie from the Palm City Humane Society, at that time she was three years old. A year and a half later I was having some discipline issues with with her, and called my Vet and they all (staff and Vet) recommended Tracy Hickler who is the owner of Dogs In Bloom. The best phone call I ever made! We(Roxie and I!) are on our fourth lesson with Tracy and she, as far as I am concerned, has performed miracles on Roxie in such a short time! One of my big issues with Roxie was that I couldn't walk her in the neighborhood without her going at other dogs, so I had to stop walking her. (which may I add I truly enjoy walking dogs and always have!)( She went after a dog and pulled so hard on the leash that she pulled me down! That was the end!) Now after Tracy trained her to walk properly, and of course showed me so I can reinforce what she taught us, we walk everyday up and down the neighborhood. If we run into anther dog there is NO reaction!! Unbelievable!!! I am so happy!! Thanks to Tracy it is a pleasure to walk Roxie.
She has taught us so may things, no more running out the front door when we are going outside, I tell her to wait, she waits, and when I say OK she is allowed to go ahead! She comes when you call her, on command sits, lays down, also when pick a place she has been taught to stay there for as long as you want, once again until you say ok. For example if you were eating dinner and your dog was a beggar, this works. You can enjoy your meal in peace and at the same time she is comfortable.
Believe me when I say Tracy is the absolute best, whatever discipline issues you have with your dog I promise you Tracy will fix them! I totally enjoy my dog Roxie 100 percent and once again thanks to Tracy! Tracy is very compassionate, loves her animals, and as far as the training I don't believe there is anyone like her!!!
